Chapter One: Introduction
1.1 Background of the Study
In Gashua Local Government Area of Yobe State, religious practices are central to community life, with Islam being the predominant religion. Traditionally, religious practices were communicated and shared through face-to-face interactions, local religious leaders, and mosques.
